Scraped Knee (Joelho Ralado) is a narrative about love and overcoming, where the protagonist Amanda travels to the city of Indaial, finding in the Caminhante route an escape from her routine, and along with it, her greatest longing. The pain of grief resurfaces. In the silence, the breaths, and the landscapes of Indaial, she revisits her childhood, and new hopes are found. This project was made possible through the Paulo Gustavo law in the city of Indaial-SC, with support from Hotel Fink, Fundação Indaialense de Cultura, and the Municipal Government of Indaial.
Scraped Knee was a short film in which I was responsible for audio recording and lighting in indoor scenes, such as at the hotel and the grandmother's house. The audio capture went smoothly, with minor adjustments in outdoor scenes due to the wind, but no issues with the final result. The experience of working on this project was enriching, allowing me to collaborate in different technical aspects of the production and contribute to the visual and sound construction of the short film.
